1959-62 Survey

Located in the southwest part of Mihrawlī village. Grid ref. F-13

Private residences now stand in a large part of this graveyard, and only the wall mosque remains. The wall mosque has eleven miḥrābs; the center miḥrāb and the third miḥrābs to the left and right are raised higher than the others, and are decorated with small blind arches. The center miḥrāb is covered in patterns and inscriptions. There are domed bastion-like towers on both ends of the wall mosque; only the north tower remains today and serves as a corridor between the front and back of the wall mosque. One of the existing inscriptions in the lower part of the center miḥrāb gives the year 917 A.H. (1511), which points to the Lodi Dynasty, during the reign of Sikandar Shah. Period III.

2015-18 Survey

This structure could not be found in the 2015 survey. On Google Earth it can be seen that there is a plot 25m (north-south) by 15m (east-west) with a wall on the west, to the west of where Kalka Das Marg winds slightly. In the 2018 survey, this was found to be the Huron Ki dargah from the Mughal Dynasty, and not G60. It is thought that the structure was incorporated into a residence or destroyed altogether.

(Paragraph 2nd from the 2015-18 Survey has been translated using Google Translate)

[Walled Mosque] According to the Monuments of Delhi, the mosque measures 30.5m north to south. A mansion was built on the east side between 1959 and 1962, but the central mihrab retains its magnificent stucco reliefs, and the mosque boasts 11 mihrabs, making it one of the largest in the country. The central and third mihrabs from both ends are surrounded by small arches in a U-shape. A cornice with cruciform die-cut work sits atop the three tall mihrabs, and circular turrets stand on both sides. As of 1959-62, only the turret on the north mihrab remains. The top decoration is a multi-lobed arch on the wall and an arch on the base. There are circular borges on both ends of the west wall, and it is crowned by a distinctive jewel dome. The side walls and the west wall are connected by a wall at a 45-degree angle, and the corners are cut off.
