Talib bin Mohammed Mosque is located in a narrow street near the Matrah souq and reportedly is named for a local businessman, Talib bin Mohammed Al Zakwani, whose name is associated with several properties in the area. The color and elaborate decoration of the mosque is evocative of South Asian temples.
